Estonian Patent Office registered trademark INNOMET in  classes 9, 16, 35, 38, 41and 42 according to certificate No  44027 issued on 10th July 2007. The registration is valid upon 10th July 2017. The trademark belongs in Estonia to Tallinn University of Technology (TTÜ) and Federation of Estonian Engineering Industry (EML).






A study visit group of the European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (Cedefop) was introduced with INNOMET developments on 24th May 2007. The Innomet system and its application possibilities and experience introduced Jüri Riives (EML), Tauno Otto (TTÜ) and Kirke Maar (Interact). After the seminar at Tallinn University of Technology was visited machine-building enterprise Bestnet.





Application for TUT and EML trademark "INNOMET" protection was registeres in Estonian Patent Office and has been published in official magazine "Eesti Kaubamärgileht (Estonian Trade Mark Magazine)" No 5/2007 on 2nd May 2007.

For the published trademark is applied protection in classes  9, 16, 35, 38, 41 and 42. In IP matter represents the applicants Estonian and European patent attorney Sirje Kahu from Innovation and Patent Bureau  Ustervall .

The application was submitted according to project strategy into Patent Office already in February 2006 .




Presentation of INNOMET book took place in Meriton Grand Hotel Tallinn on the 22nd of March. It was also considered as Estonian national seminar and closure event of the project. Presentations were made by Jüri Riives (EML) - INNOMET: to who and for what?, Tauno Otto (TUT) - INNOMET book, Ingrid Hindrikson and Jaanus Vahesalu (TCEB). The atmosphere was festive and members of the project team were thanked by project manager Jüri Riives.

Many thanks to Swedish colleagues who found time to visit Tallinn and participate in presentation.




Estonian Leonardo Centre rewarded Tallinn University of Technology with letter of thanks for the best website -  INNOMET (www.innomet.ee/innomet)- among development projects of Leonardo II programme.

The letter of thanks was given to TUT INNOMET team on the education fair EXPRO 2006 on the 22nd of November in Tallinn.

On the 19-20th of October, the fifth meeting of INNOMET II project took place in Cascais (Portugal).

Main attention was dedicated to the INNOMET system, its development and further activities.

Other topics under discussion were: book of INNOMET, INNOMET glossary and dissemination-valorisation activities.

On the second day the team visited a technological center CENTIMFE in Marinha Grande.




On the 29-30th of June, INNOMET II team met fourth time during the project. This time in Italy, in Verbania. Main discussions were connected with functionality of INNOMET system and publication of INNOMET book. Also results of WP 3 and ongoing activities of WP 4 were presented.

Next meeting will take place on the 19-20th of October in Portugal.

The aim of the project is to create an integrated human resources development and monitoring system for adding innovation capacity of labour force and entrepreneurs of the metal, engineering, machinery and apparatus sector.
