Third international meeting of the LdV INNOMET II project took place on the 21st of April in Tallinn. Most of the attention was paid to results of Work Package 1 and Work Package 2. Tauno Otto (TUT) introduced basic task of Work Package 4. Jaanus Vahesalu (TCEB) gave an overview of dissemination activities. Next meeting will take place on the 29-30th of June in Verbania, in Italy. 5th international DAAAM Baltic Conference "Industrial Engineering - adding innovation capacity of labour force and entrepreneur" will take place on the 20-22 of April in Tallinn. Conference is organized by Tallinn University of Technology (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering). INNOMET open seminar in the frame of DAAAM will take place on the 20th of April, INNOMET team meeting on the 21st of April. Meeting by video conference of INNOMET II project took place on the 21st of March. The aim of video conference was to evaluate project development, review of project results so far and possible short-comings. Each partner had a chance to present their current activities and express an opinion of project progress. The second international meeting of the INNOMET II follow-up project took place in Stockholm on 02-03 February. First day focused on Work Packages 1 and 2. INNOMET strategy 2005-2010 was discussed on the second day. Next meeting will take place in Tallinn on the 21st of April in terms of international conference DAAAM Baltic 2006. The second international meeting of the INNOMET II follow-up project will take place in Stockholm (Sweden) on 02-03 February. The first day includes an overview of activities and results of Work Package 1 presented by KTH team. Project manager Jüri Riives gives an overview of Work Package 2 - "Skill charts compilation. Description of the estimation system the needed and existing level of skills and knowledge". The second day pays attention to INNOMET strategy 2005-2010 background paper and valorisation plans. Tauno Otto and Lembit Roosimölder (TUT) will introduce Innomet seminar in terms of international conference DAAAM Baltic 2006 which will take place on the 20-21st of April 2006 in Tallinn (Estonia). On the 13-14th of October the first international meeting of the INNOMET II follow-up project took place in Riga, in Latvia. INNOMET II: Integrated human resources development and monitoring system for adding innovation capacity of labour force and entrepreneurs of the metal engineering, machinery and apparatus sector is funded by EC Leonardo da Vinci II Programme. TCEB organised an international cluster seminar at Sokos Hotel Viru Conference Centre on 2nd March 2005, where EML Chairman Dr J.Riives introduced also INNOMET influence to cluster development at his presentation "Synergy of Science and Industry as a Basis for Innovation. Local and Global Networks in Industry". "Integration through Recognition - Innovative ideas, tools and approaches to validation of competencies for Nordic-Baltic and European integration" On the 13-14th of October the first international meeting of the INNOMET II follow-up project took place in Riga, in Latvia. TCEB organised an international cluster seminar at Sokos Hotel Viru Conference Centre on 2nd March 2005. The Estonian Leonardo da Vinci National Agency together with seven National Agencies from the Nordic and Baltic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden) organised a Nordic-Baltic valorisation conference.
