Objective of the INNOMET-EST survey of Estonian companies is to get an overview at what level is competitiveness of Estonian companies and which is situation of Estonian companies regarding human resources development, competitiveness and innovativeness. The company can compare its answers with average results of the survey and to position itself, are the issues regarding human resources development, competitiveness and innovativeness in the company better or poor than in other companies (comparing with average results). All companies interviewed are sent overview of the survey and average results of the survey.
Survey of the companies is carried out:
- in 4 regions of Estonia: East-Estonia, West- and Central Estonia, South-Estonia, Tallinn-Harjumaa (North-Estonia);
- in 6 sectors : 1) electronics, 2) wood and furniture industry, 3) IT, 4) construction and production of construction materials, 5) metalworking and machine building, 6) vehicle servicing and repairing.
In total 180 companies from before mentioned 4 regions and 6 sectors will be interviewed.
Questioning of the companies is finished for 31. December 2007. Analysis of the answerswill take place in January-February 2008.All companies interviewed are sent overview of the survey and average results of the survey after the analysis is done.
